ISLAMABAD, April 24 (Xinhua) -- Three terrorists were killed and one other arrested in a military operation in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province, the country's army said in a statement on Tuesday night.
The incident happened on the night of Monday to the wee hours of Tuesday morning in Pishin area where security forces conducted the operation by acting on an intelligence tip-off, the military's media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in the statement.
The three terrorists were killed after an intense exchange of fire while their accomplice had been injured and arrested, the ISPR added.
A huge cache of arms, ammunition and explosives was recovered during the operation, the statement added. ■
