QALAT, Afghanistan, April 6 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed with four others injured in a road crash in south Afghanistan's Zabul province, provincial police spokesperson Zabihullah Johar said Saturday.
The deadly accident occurred while a Corolla car hit another car on the Kabul-Kandahar highway in the Shahjoy district of Zabul, leaving two dead and four others injured, the official said.
More than 1,600 people were killed and over 4,000 others injured due to road accidents in Afghanistan over the past 11 months, according to data from the country's traffic police department. ■
