HONG KONG, March 30 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 hit Halmahera, Indonesia at 2356 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 1.06 degrees south latitude and 128.58 degrees east longitude. ■
