BEIJING, March 27 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted Vanuatu Islands Region at 1349 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 20.63 degrees south latitude and 173.83 degrees east longitude. ■
