NEW DELHI, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- At least six people died and nearly 60 others were injured when a huge blast occurred inside a firecrackers manufacturing unit in India's central state of Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday, confirmed a local government official.
The blast occurred in the Harda area of Madhya Pradesh. The death toll is feared to rise as some of the injured were said to be in a critical state.
Ambulances and fire-fighting trucks were deployed to douse the fire and rescue those trapped inside the unit.
