ISLAMABAD, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan on Wednesday conducted a successful flight test of the Fatah-II missile, which has a range of 400 kilometers, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The ISPR, the media wing of the Pakistan Army, said that the missile is equipped with state-of-the-art avionics, a sophisticated navigation system and a unique flight trajectory.
The ISPR added that the weapon system is capable of engaging targets with high precision up to a range of 400 kilometers.
According to the military's media wing, the flight test was witnessed by dedicated scientists, engineers, and senior officers from the Pakistan Army, Navy and Air Force.
Pakistani President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar congratulated participating troops and scientists on the successful conduct of the flight test. ■
