BEIJING, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted Southern Sumatra, Indonesia at 1016 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 241.9 km, was initially determined to be at 0.44 degrees south latitude and 101.36 degrees east longitude. ■
