YANGON, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- A total of 4,050 traffic accidents were reported across Myanmar between January and October this year, as stated by Myanmar's Road Transport Administration Department.
As per the figure released by the department on Friday, a total of 2,068 people were killed and 5,656 others injured in traffic accidents that happened in Nay Pyi Taw, fourteen states and regions, and on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway in 10 months.
The fatality figure decreased by 275 compared to that of a similar period in 2022. ■
