KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- Malaysia, the world's second largest palm oil producer, saw its palm oil stocks rise 9.6 percent in September to 2.31 million tons from August.
Data from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) showed on Tuesday that Malaysia's crude palm oil (CPO) production grew 4.33 percent month on month to 1.83 million tons.
Meanwhile, Malaysia's palm oil exports fell 2.11 percent month on month to 1.2 million tons.
Malaysia's palm oil imports, on the other hand, plunged 55.66 percent month on month to 49,054 tons. ■
