BEIJING, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- A 5.3-magnitude earthquake jolted Minahassa Peninsula, Sulawesi at 0350 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 129.7 km, was initially determined to be at 0.37 degrees north latitude and 122.28 degrees east longitude. ■
