BEIJING, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted Izu Islands, Japan region at 2156 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 31.17 degrees north latitude and 141.86 degrees east longitude. ■
