BEIJING, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- At the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet will pay an official visit to China from Sept. 14 to 16.
Born in October 1977 in the Cambodian province of Kampong Cham, Hun Manet served as deputy commander of the Royal Cambodian Army, and later as deputy commander-in-chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and commander of the Royal Cambodian Army.
He was elected as a member of the Cambodian People Party's Permanent Committee in 2018, and assumed office as Cambodian prime minister in August this year.
He is married to Pich Chanmony. ■
