COLOMBO, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- Sri Lanka's Agriculture Ministry said on Wednesday that it has planned to set up the third sour banana export processing factory in the south of the country.
The ministry said in a statement that arrangements had been made to start the project, covering 800 acres of land.
The statement said the first sour banana export processing zone and processing center has been established in Rajanganaya in the North Central Province and the second in Jaffna in the Northern Province. ■
