BISHKEK, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- A seasonal measles outbreak has been registered in Kyrgyzstan, the country's Republican Headquarters reported Wednesday.
It said about 2,000 cases have been registered so far, adding that there are currently 52 patients being treated in hospital.
New patients include those who have not been vaccinated and children under one year of age, it said.
Meanwhile, the headquarters observed a gradual decrease in the level of the disease by 15 percent. ■
