MANILA, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) -- A Cessna plane was reported missing after taking off from Laoag International Airport in the Philippines' northern province of Ilocos Norte on Tuesday, according to local media reports.
The two-seater Cessna 152 plane with tail number RP-C8598 took off on Tuesday morning and was supposed to land at Tuguegarao City Airport in Cagayan province at around 12:30 p.m. but failed to make it, said media reports.
The reports said that a pilot and a student of Indian nationality were on board the plane.
The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines has yet to confirm the report. ■
