HONG KONG, July 26 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8 jolted 83 km E of Port-Olry, Vanuatu at 12:44:37 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 14.94 degrees south latitude and 167.84 degrees east longitude. ■
