MAIMANA, Afghanistan, May 30 (Xinhua) -- At least two commuters were killed and six others injured in a road accident in Afghanistan's northern Faryab province on Monday, provincial Traffic Police Officer Ahmad Fahim Kohi said on Tuesday.
The accident occurred in the Pashton Kot district of Faryab province on Monday afternoon when a mini-bus overturned due to technical problems, Kohi added.
This is the fifth road accident in the country since May 21. Earlier, 11 people had been killed and 14 others including women and children were injured in separate road accidents in Bamyan, Faryab, Ghazni, Parwan, and Kabul provinces of Afghanistan. ■
