ISLAMABAD, May 24 (Xinhua) -- At least four people were killed and two others injured on Wednesday in a suicide attack at a security check post in Pakistan's northwestern North Waziristan district, said an official.
Deputy Commissioner of the district Rehan Gul Khattak said that a suicide bomber blew himself up at a security check post when personnel were conducting routine checking in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, a district in the country's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Police, security forces, and rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the bodies and injured to the Miranshah Hospital.
In the attack three security personnel and a civilian were killed and two other security personnel were injured.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet. ■
