NEW DELHI, April 10 (Xinhua) -- The number of start-ups grew in India 300 times in the last nine years, said Jitendra Singh, minister of state for the ministry of science and technology, on Monday.
"There has been a quantum jump in start-ups to more than 90,000 with more than 100 unicorns," Singh said at a function.
There were just around 350 start-ups before 2014, he said. ■
