CHARIKAR, Afghanistan, March 23 (Xinhua) -- The Afghan security forces have discovered and seized a weapon cache in Charikar city, capital of Afghanistan's eastern Parwan province, deputy provincial police chief Mullah Awal Haqparast said on Thursday.
According to the official, a good quantity of arms and ammunition were discovered from Topdara in Charikar's Police District 4 on Wednesday. The ammunition included mortar, mortar mines, anti-tank gun, BM1 missiles, anti-personnel mines, and thousands of bullets.
