SEOUL, March 21 (Xinhua) -- Price for goods and services among South Korean suppliers kept rising for the second consecutive month in February due to higher services price, central bank data showed Tuesday.

The producer price index (PPI) added 0.1 percent in February from a month earlier, after gaining 0.4 percent in the previous month, according to the Bank of Korea (BOK).

Services price among suppliers rose 0.3 percent last month on the back of higher prices for the eatery and lodging, the finance and insurance, and the real estate services.

Price for industrial products climbed 0.1 percent on higher chemical products price that offset cheaper oil products.

Prices for agricultural and fishery products advanced 1.5 percent and 2.1 percent, respectively, but livestock products price declined 3.2 percent last month.

Producer price for electricity, natural gas and tap water retreated 0.3 percent in February from a month earlier, after soaring 4.0 percent in the prior month.
