VIENTIANE, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen, accompanied by a delegation of senior officials, arrived at Wattay International Airport in Lao capital Vientiane on Monday for a two-day official visit to Laos.
In response to the invitation from his Lao counterpart Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone, Hun Sen is paying an official visit to Laos.
Hun Sen will pay separate courtesy visits to Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith, and Lao National Assembly (NA) President Xaysomphone Phomvihane, Lao News Agency reported on Monday.
The prime ministers will discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas of security, politics and economy, as well as share perspectives on sub-regional, regional and international topics of mutual interest and concern.
After their discussion, the two leaders will sign the "Action Plan for the Comprehensive and Long-Lasting Strategic Partnership between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Lao People's Democratic Republic for the year 2023-2027". ■
