NEW DELHI, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday condoled the loss of lives in an earthquake that hit Türkiye.
A 7.8-magnitude earthquake hit southeast Türkiye and northern Syria Monday, killing hundreds and injuring several hundred more, besides wreaking havoc by knocking down multiple buildings.
Modi said India is ready to extend assistance to Türkiye. ■
