ISLAMABAD, Jan. 25 (Xinhua) -- More than 50 percent of Pakistanis have shown a certain level of confidence in lawyers, the findings of a survey showed on Wednesday.
In the survey, Gallup and Gilani Pakistan reported that a nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country was asked the following question, "Please indicate how confident you are in the lawyers?"
In response to the question, 17 percent said they are completely confident, 27 percent said they are somewhat confident, and 11 percent reported slight confidence.
However, 32 percent said they are not confident in lawyers whereas 13 percent did not respond or said that they did not know, according to the survey. ■
