NEW YORK, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted 189 km NW of Tobelo, Indonesia, at 20:17:53 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 3.395 km, was initially determined to be at 3.1551 degrees north latitude and 127.0594 degrees east longitude. ■
