HONG KONG, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 rocked 23 km West Northwest of Port-Olry, Vanuatu at 12:32:42 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 27.719 km, was initially determined to be at 14.9383 degrees south latitude and 166.8778 degrees east longitude. ■
