JAKARTA, Jan. 3 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Indonesia's eastern province of West Papua on Tuesday, the country's meteorology, climatology and geophysics agency said.
The quake occurred at 16:32 p.m. local time (0932 GMT) with its epicenter situated 68 km southwest of Kaimana Regency and a depth of 10 km, the agency said.
The tremor did not potentially trigger a tsunami. ■
