ISLAMABAD, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan reported 24 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health said on Friday.
According to data released by the ministry, the overall tally of infected people increased to 1,575,250 across the country after adding the new cases.
A total of 30,632 people died of COVID-19 in Pakistan, with no more death recorded on Thursday, according to the ministry's statistics.
On Thursday, 9,093 tests were conducted throughout Pakistan, and the positivity rate stood at 0.26 percent.
There are 41 patients in critical condition. ■
