BANGKOK, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- At least one person was killed and over a dozen others injured in a car bombing at a police compound in southern Thailand's Narathiwat province on Tuesday, local media reported.
According to the Thai national daily Matichon, the explosion occurred at around 12:45 p.m. local time (05:45 GMT) when a vehicle equipped with a bomb went off at the police compound.
One police officer was confirmed dead so far. ■
