KUALA LUMPUR, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- Malaysia, the world's second largest palm oil producer, saw its palm oil inventories rise 3.74 percent from the previous month to 2.4 million tonnes in October, official data showed Thursday.
According to the Malaysian Palm Oil Board, crude palm oil production also climbed 2.44 percent month on month to 1.81 million tonnes.
Palm oil exports, meanwhile, grew 5.66 percent month on month to 1.5 million tonnes.
Palm oil imports, on the other hand, slumped 49.85 percent to 66,349 tonnes. ■
