JAKARTA, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- Starting from Nov. 1, foreign delegates and journalists coming to Indonesia for attending the G20 summit can enter the country with free visa via Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta and Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, the Soekarno-Hatta airport immigration office announced Tuesday.

According to the authorities, the foreign delegates and journalists will only need to present the required documents, including passports, return or one-way tickets, and proofs of registration or invitation letters for attending the summit scheduled to take place in the Bali resort island on Nov. 15 to 16.

"The free-visa entry policy is valid up to Nov. 18 and is expected to make it easier for the G20 participants to enter Indonesia. Our main goal is to make the participants comfortable and safe with our immigration services," head of the airport immigration office, Muhammad Tito Andrianto, said in a written statement.

At the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, there are four arrival gates that are open only for the G20 participants and serve as the free-visa entry, according to Andrianto.
