NEW YORK, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 jolted 262 km ESE of Biak, Indonesia at 23:31:49 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 29.397 km, was initially determined to be at 2.2484 degrees south latitude and 138.183 degrees east longitude. ■
