14 killed in rain-related accidents in Pakistan's Karachi

ISLAMABAD, July 9 (Xinhua) -- At least 14 people have been killed over the last three days in separate accidents from the monsoon rains in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi, local media reported on Saturday morning.

According to the reports, four people were electrocuted and two others were drowned on Friday.

At least 97 people had been killed and 101 others injured in separate rain-related accidents across Pakistan over the last three weeks, the country's National Disaster Management Authority said on Thursday.
