JAKARTA, July 7 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi and British Foreign Secretary Elizabeth Truss agreed on Thursday that their countries will strengthen cooperation in the field of renewable energy, according to a press release from the Indonesian foreign ministry.
The two foreign ministers met on the sidelines of the G20 Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Bali.
Britain "has expressed its readiness to support Indonesia in developing wind and solar energy," Marsudi was quoted as saying.
Indonesia also welcomes Britain's plan to open an investment office in its capital Jakarta in the near future, Marsudi added. ■
