JAKARTA, July 7 (Xinhua) -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Argentina, through their respective foreign ministers, have expressed their interest of investing in Indonesia's new capital city project, according to the Indonesian Foreign Ministry on Thursday.

UAE Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Argentine Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero made related remarks on Thursday during their bilateral meetings with Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi on the sidelines of Group of 20 (G20) Foreign Ministers' Meeting held in Indonesia's Bali resort island.

"Argentina wants to contribute in developing projects in the new capital," the Indonesian foreign ministry said in an official press release.

"In particular, UAE plans to help develop the new capital in health and aviation sectors," said the ministry in a separate release.

Indonesia's national capital city will be relocated from Jakarta on the island of Java to the Kalimantan island.
