NEW YORK, June 27 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted 128 km E of Kokopo, Papua New Guinea at 19:17:36 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 98.48 km, was initially determined to be at 4.4865 degrees south latitude and 153.4135 degrees east longitude. ■
