MUMBAI, June 28 (Xinhua) -- Indian business tycoon Pallonji Mistry died late Monday night at the age of 93, local media reported.
With a net-worth of 13 billion U.S. dollars and ranking 143 worldwide on the list of Forbes, Mistry was heading the Shapoorji Pallonji group, a diversified conglomerate of engineering and construction, infrastructure, real estate, water, energy and financial services.
Established in 1865, the Shapoorji Pallonji group with over 150-year-old legacy has presence across 50 countries and regions globally.
Mistry received India's third highest civilian award of Padma Bhushan in 2016. He was the oldest Indian billionaire. ■
