ULAN BATOR, June 20 (Xinhua) -- A total of 276 judokas from 29 countries and regions have so far confirmed they will participate in the upcoming Ulan Bator Grand Slam 2022, the Mongolian Judo Association (MJA) said on Monday.
The Ulan Bator Grand Slam 2022 will be co-organized by the MJA, the International Judo Federation and the municipal government of Mongolia's capital Ulan Bator from Friday to Sunday under the auspices of Mongolian President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, said a statement.
The tournament will be the first qualifying round for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, according to the MJA. ■
