HONG KONG, June 14 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 jolted 134 km north of Lae, Papua New Guinea at 09:09:32 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 178.38 km, was initially determined to be at 5.5123 degrees south latitude and 147.1108 degrees east longitude. ■
