QALAT, Afghanistan, June 6 (Xinhua) -- A total of 72 students, including three girls, graduated from university in the southern Zabul province on Monday, rector of state-run Mirwais Nika University Rohullah Mashal said on Monday.
All the 69 boys and three girls graduated from the Education faculty of Physic, Chemistry and Biology departments of the university and obtained their certificates, the official said in his speech at the graduation ceremony here.
Mashal also noted that the newly graduated persons would be employed as teachers in the schools located in Zabul province.
The graduation is taking place amid restrictions on girl education as the ministry for education has yet to allow girl students from grade 7th to grade 12th to go to school. ■
