HONG KONG, June 4 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 jolted west of Macquarie Island at 13:17:48 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 57.7133 degrees south latitude and 148.7671 degrees east longitude. ■
