KABUL, May 11 (Xinhua) -- The Afghan National Police operations team has arrested 19 suspects in four provinces of the country's 34 provinces in recent days, the country's Ministry of Interior said on Wednesday.
The detainees, reportedly being involved in murder and theft cases, were taken to the provincial police headquarters in Kabul, Herat, Nimroz, and Uruzgan provinces, the ministry said in a statement.
"The suspects were taken to concerned departments for screening and possible legal process," the statement said.
Besides, police forces rescued two children from kidnappers and arrested two suspected culprits in Kabul and Balkh provinces during the past two days, according to the ministry. ■
