NEW DELHI, April 27 (Xinhua) -- At least people were electrocuted in India's southern state of Tamil Nadu on Wednesday, a local government official said.
The incident occurred when the chariot, which was being moved in a procession during a local festival, came in contact with a high-voltage live electric wire passing above the road.
The mishap occurred in Tamil Nadu's Thanjavur district. ■
