HONG KONG, April 13 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted 34 km WSW of Kokopo, Papua New Guinea at 03:00:56 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 146.88 km, was initially determined to be at 4.4511 degrees south latitude and 151.9805 degrees east longitude. ■
