HONG KONG, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted 47 km E of Wewak, Papua New Guinea at 07:14:53 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 3.5188 degrees south latitude and 144.0565 degrees east longitude. ■
