NAIROBI, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- Kenya's Ministry of Health on Saturday confirmed four new cases of Ebola Bundibugyo virus disease, bringing the total caseload to seven, as efforts to prevent community transmission of the hemorrhagic fever gather momentum.
The four individuals include a close male relative of the deceased first Ebola patient and three health workers who attended to him while in hospital, Patrick Amoth, director-general for health in Kenya's Ministry of Health said in a statement issued in Nairobi, the Kenyan capital. ■
