NEW DELHI, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- India on Tuesday condemned the recent attack on the ship MV Royad Mammadov in the Black Sea, which killed two foreign seafarers and injured some members of the crew.
"India views these attacks on commercial shipping and seafarers with grave concern. The targeting of traffic in international waterways is severely undermining global commerce and welfare of people across the world. We continue to call for dialogue and diplomacy to bring an end to the ongoing conflicts," said the country's Ministry of External Affairs in an official statement.
Romanian authorities reportedly rescued the injured, who are receiving medical attention. The three Indian nationals, part of the ship's crew, were said to be safe. ■
