KAMPALA, May 27 (Xinhua) -- Uganda ordered Wednesday the immediate closure of its border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo amid a rise in cases of a rare Ebola strain.
The move follows reports that Congolese patients crossed into Uganda before the May 15 outbreak declaration, exposing Ugandan health workers to the virus. ■
