ABIDJAN, March 11 (Xinhua) -- Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara on Tuesday appointed a new national mediator to strengthen mechanisms for resolving disputes, according to the presidency.
Gaoussou Toure, a close ally of Ouattara, was appointed mediator of the republic, replacing Adama Toungara.
