ANTANANARIVO, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- At least two people were killed and seven others injured on Thursday after a train derailed in Anjiro, northeast of Madagascar's capital Antananarivo, according to Madarail, the company that operates the country's railway network.

The head of Madarail's commercial department, Lalaina Rakotondramanana, said the accident occurred at around 2:13 a.m. local time (2313 GMT Wednesday).
